Please send any questions to the Bride or Groom - or email at wedding@daveandbree.ca. We'll add questions here as we receive them so be sure to check back.
Q: Where should I park?
A: There is lots of onsite parking at the Tiffin Center. Vehicles can be left overnight and picked up on Sunday morning. You can review the attached map and park in the section labeled in purple.
We will have signs to direct you from the parking area to the ceremony location. If you get lost, look for someone who is dressed fancy and follow them.
Q: When is the deadline for RSVPs?
A: We ask that you please respond by July 1st so we can report numbers to the venue and our vendors.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Dress code for the event is formal/semi-formal. Dress in something that you feel comfortable in. Our wedding colours are navy blue and yellow, but feel free to wear whatever colours you like. The ceremony site may be outside weather permitting and has gravel and dirt floor so please wear appropriate footwear. (Stiletto heels may prove difficult to walk in)
Q: Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?
A: The wedding will be outdoors, rain or shine. If it is raining, there is a covered outdoor location but dress for the weather. As it is October it may be cold.
Q: Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
A: Please no pictures during the ceremony, we will have a professional photographer to capture the day - and we will make the pictures available on this website when they are ready. Please feel free to take as many pictures as you like after the ceremony has finished.
Q: Is there a gift registry?
A: In lieu of a traditional gift registry, we are setting up a honeymoon fund. Your generous contributions will help us create unforgettable memories as we start this new chapter of our lives. We will be going on a cruise from Anchorage, Alaska to Vancouver at the end of May 2026.
Q: Where should I stay?
A: We have a group rate with the Four Points on Bryne Drive - You can use this link to get our group rate.
https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1715205793533&key=CORP
There are also a number of other hotels in the area that are within a 15 min drive of the venue.
Q: Can I bring guests/kids?
A: You can bring your spouse/significant other if their name is not listed on the envelope for the invitation. Please make sure to include their name in your RSVP so we know to have a space for them. We will be serving alcohol at the event, so kids are not permitted.
Q: Will it be a cash or open bar?
A: To help cover the cost, and to limit how much people are drinking - we will be charging $2 a drink at the bar. Wine will be provided at dinner. Pop/Water will be available free of charge.
Q: What time should we arrive?
A: The ceremony will start at 3 PM with the reception to follow.
Q: What's for dinner?
A: Dinner will be buffet style, so there should be something for everyone. Take what you like, and leave what you don't. There will be chicken breast and brisket along with a number of options for sides. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions so that we can make sure that everyone has a great meal.
Q: Where's the honeymoon?
A: Our honeymoon is going to be an Alaskan Cruise at the end of May.
